Da collezione a patrimonio: qualche riflessione a proposito del CDMT – Collecting Textiles

Degree in Human Sciences at the University of Barcelona in 1975, Eulàlia Morral obtains a research fellowship from the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science in 1976-1978. She is a conservator of the Museum of History of Sabadell and she takes part in the documentation team in the Museum Manolo Hugué in Caldes de Montbui. In 1986, she was nominated Conservator of the Textile Museum of Terrassa and in 1987, she became its Director. She was an advisory member of the Unesco Board for the study of the Silk Way (1987-1996); she took part in the workgroup of the European Commission for the itineraries of the Silk Way (1987-1996) and was a coordinator of the Spanish Commission for the Silk Way (1990-1997). She took part in several European projects connected to the documentation and use of cultural textile heritage (Arqueotex, Arqueosilk, Tela di Aracne, Eurotex, Texmedin). In 2012, she received an award for her career, given by the Associació de Museòlegs de Catalunya.
